Whistle-stop cafe..... our latest project

The cafe is is situated in Tweedbank close to the Borders Railway Station (from the roundabout at the station take the second exit to your left and walk straight ahead - the cafe is stituated across the road on your left) and is open Monday to Saturday 10.00 am to 4.00 pm. A selection of teas, coffees and soft drinks, homemade scones, biscuits and tray bakes are served. Light lunches are also available 12.00 - 2.30 pm with soup and 'Bread Works' artisan bread and filled rolls. You can eat in or take away and WIFI is available.

The Whistle-stop cafe is part of Working Together Social Enterprises a division of Brothers of Charity Services (Scotland) . Our aim is to provide opportunities for training and work experience for people with learning disabilities and enable them to gain the skills and knowledge required when seeking employment.

The project is part financed by the Scottish Government and the European Community LEADER 2014-2020 Programme.

Come along and see the cafe and find out more about what we do.
